VetEquity 770 is a groundbreaking initiative designed to support student veterans
by providing the access to student housing downtown, close to VA, school, and their professional practices
and career development opportunities,
sharpening their steel in various sectors of emerging fields of noted National importance.
This prestigious portfolio of projects and programs
aims to integrate long-time residents of Chicago’s neighborhoods,
into a regenerative circular economy,
emphasizing housing, education, training/employment, and sustainable living,
while building lifelong mentors and battle buddies.
Key Components of VetEquity 770:
Education and Lifelong Learning:
- Providing educational opportunities for veterans to continue their personal and professional development.
- Offering courses and certifications in areas of part time work in their chosen career development, professional practices adding a first class practical participation in their field of study, like cyber security, biotechnology, biomanufacturing, bioengineering, sustainable development, regenerative agriculture, clean tech, advanced manufacturing, Regenerative design and build, drone technology, and other emerging regenerative careers...Bootstrap to ensure that the website was mobile-friendly.
Housing and Community Development:
- Developing affordable, sustainable housing solutions for veterans nationwide creating regenerative biocomposite materials like hempcrete, bioplastics, wood alternatives, green steel...
- Creating communities that support veterans and their families 360 degrees, including access to holistic health and well-being solutions.
Employment and Entrepreneurship:
- Offering job placement and entrepreneurial support for veterans in industries aligned with the regenerative circular economy.
- Encouraging veterans to start their own businesses in fields such as sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, and green manufacturing.
Regenerative Workforce Training:
- Providing veterans with skills and training in regenerative agriculture, biotech, biomanufacturing, and eco-industrial practices.
- Focusing on the use of sustainable materials like hemp for building and manufacturing.
Collaboration and Partnerships:
- Working with government agencies, private sector partners, and non-profits to create a supportive network for veterans.
